Mother's Day is right around the corner and we are in the process of planning our big diaper drive. Our hope is that this year we will be able to collect twice the amount of diapers! Please contact us to donate today!
We received this email from Teen Parent Connection today. It made me happy so I thought I'd share with all of our supporters... Danielle, Thank you SO much for your generous donation from your diaper drive, “Keep Every Baby Dry” & for the time you must have spent dividing them into individual packages to Teen Parent Connection! You may be aware, but in addition to our parenting programs for teenage parents, we also offer an incentive-based Parents’ Pantry to our young families. By having 100% attendance at support groups, keeping up with their baby’s immunizations, getting an A in class, and other achievements, teen parents earn “Baby Bucks”. They can then spend their bucks in our Parents’ Pantry on diapers, wipes, formula, and other essentials for their family. Our Parents’ Pantry goes through thousands of diapers a year! Our pantry is primarily stocked through community donations. With your donation of diapers, you have helped so many young families! Attached you will find a SPECIAL thank you from one of our Participants! Teen Parent Connection is proud to belong to a community that supports their fellow residents in times of need. We thank you for your consideration! A dear friend of mine had a get together last night and encouraged all his guests to bring a package of diapers. From this small gesture we collected an additional 399 diapers! This brings our total for the 2014 holiday drive to 4,574 diapers and the total for the year to 9,527 diapers! Thank you everyone for making this possible and helping to #keepeverybabydry
